Cannon Street (from New Street) on the right or 50 yards down from
House of Fraser on the left. You'll see thestudio and our
internet cafe on the ground floor.
By Rail
There are three railway stations within walking distance of thestudio:
Birmingham New Street, Snow Hill and Moor Street. New Street Station
is just two minutes walk from thestudio.

Walking from New Street Station
Exit the North exit ‘Stephenson Street’ entrance and carry on along the
Diesel Store on Lower Temple Street. Turn right around Starbucks and
continue down New Street (Tesco on your left). Cannon Street is the
second street on the left, past the Ted Baker shop, thestudio is
halfway up Cannon Street on the right hand side.
Parking
There are several car parks within walking distance of thestudio.
We recommend
either NCP
High Street, around five minutes walk away. The postcode of this for satnav
is B4 7LN. Alternatively you can use
The
Mailbox. The postcode for which is B1 1RD.
To obtain discounted parking for either of these please
ask for a voucher from our reception.
Walking from High Street NCP
Car Park
Exit the car park, turn left and walk down Dale End. Turn right opposite
Marks & Spencers and head up Union Street, continue until you cross
Corporation Street. Cannon Street is the first on the left, thestudio
is halfway down Cannon Street on the left hand side.
Walking from The Mailbox
Car Park
Exit the car park at the front entrance and cross under the flyover and
continue along Navigation Street. Cross over Hill Street at the traffic
lights and continue to the entrance of New Street Train Station. Cross
Navigation Street next to the train station entrance but continue along
Navigation street until you get to Diesel on the left, turn left here
and then right at Tesco. Cannon Street is the second road on the left
and thestudio is halfway up on the right.
By Road
From the
North via M6
Leave the M6 at jct 6 (signposted Birmingham East and Central) then
follow the A38(M) for approx 2 miles. Continue forward onto A38 but keep
left (do not go over the first flyover) and turn off A38 (signposted
Bull Ring Shopping). At the roundabout take the first exit past the fire
station. Follow James Watt Queensway for a quarter of a mile and turn
right (signposted High Street parking) Follow Dale End and Albert
Street Car Park Entrance on the left hand side.
From London and the South East via M40
At Jct 3A of the M40 take theleft hand lane and Join the M42(N) Exit the
M42 at Jct 4. Take the second exit at the roundabout and follow A34
(Stratford Road) towards Birmingham for approx 9 miles. At the Camp Hill
Circus roundabout take the second exit straight on and follow the
B4100 past the Renault garage on the left up through Digbeth. The road
bears left and right then passes St Martins Church - keep Bull Ring on
your left and turn left onto Moat Lane. The road immediately bears to
the right, stay in the left lane and take the second left onto Albert
Street, High Street Car Park is immediately in front of you.
From the South West via M5
Leave the M5 at junction 1, turn right, the 4th exit, A41 Birmingham
Road. Follow the A41 for three miles then keep left avoiding the flyover
and at Holloway Head Roundabout take the ring road signposted A38(M) Go
straight over first roundabout then turn right following signs for City
Centre and Bull Ring Parking, Children's Hospital. Follow New Town Row,
keeping on the right to go under Lancaster Circus underpass. Follow
James Watt Queensway for a quarter of a mile and turn right (signposted
High Street parking) Follow Dale End and High Street Car Park
Entrance on the left hand side.
Disabled Parking
The closest disabled parking spot is on Waterloo Street which is just
around the corner from Cannon Street. Delegates would need an Orange or

By Bicycle
If you wish to arrive by bike we can store your
bike in our secure basement, just ask reception on arrival.

on Lever Street, in Manchester's vibrant Northern Quarter, only 5-10
minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly and with excellent bus and tram
stops close by. The closest tram stop is Piccadilly Gardens. Our nearest
car park is Church Street, the postcode for this is M4 1LX. There is
no parking at the Hive, for drop-off or pick-up the postcode to use in
your SAT NAV is M1 1BB. (Our postcode is new so this is for Griffin
house which is opposite)
By Rail

Walking from
Manchester Piccadilly Station
On leaving Piccadilly Station via 'Piccadilly' exit, turn right, walking down the ramp towards
the City centre and Piccadilly Gardens. Follow the path until you see
Tesco Express on your left hand side. Cross over Newton Street and take
the next turning on the right into Lever Street, continue along crossing
Back Piccadilly, Dale Street, Stevenson Square and Faraday Street, thestudio
is located on your left at 51 The Hive.
Parking
There are several car parks within easy walking distance of thestudio,
the nearest is Church Street, the postcode for this is M4 1LX. To walk
to the studio from this car park, leave via the Tib Street exit, turn
left and cross into Hilton Street, follow Hilton Street which crosses
Oldham Street, then Spear Street becoming Stevenson Square. At Stevenson
Square turn left onto Lever Street, thestudio at the
Hive is located on your left opposite Griffin House
To obtain discounted parking at the
Church Street car park simply ask for an NCP validation ticket at
thestudio reception. When you are ready to exit the car
park, simply insert your original parking ticket into the payment
machines along with the validation ticket to activate the discount. The
maximum day rate will be then be reduced to £5.
By Road
From the Inner Ring Road (Great Ancoats Street) turn into Newton Street,
take the 5th Right onto Hilton Street which becomes Stevenson Square.
Turn right onto Lever Street. thestudio is located on
your left after approximately 50 metres.
By Bicycle
Bike racking, changing rooms and showers are located on the ground floor
of the our Manchester location and are available for the use of studio
guests. If you’re arriving by bicycle then please
let us know and we will confirm
arrangements to you. .
